I'm finally selling my trusty Guild S100. Reason being, I'm buying a Telecaster as the tele sound suits me more at the moment. Same as Kim Thayil from Soundgarden's main guitar. A rare and great sounding guitar for blues, rock, funk and metal. I've been told by the repairer who waxed the pickups that there is a Seymour Duncan 59 reissue in the neck and a Jeff Beck in the bridge. The guitar has an extra sound in the middle position (similar to a coil tap) which produces a funky thin tone on clean and fairly high gain when overdriven. Beautiful mother of pearl inlays on the headstock and blocks on the fingerboard. One piece neck through to body. Grover tuners. USA made I've recently had the guitar professionally set up and it plays nicely. It has a few nocks and small dents (see pics) but this really does add to the character of this guitar (in my opinion!) It has a few dents on the body also. I've recorded and gigged with this guitar over the years.
